Calibration itself is fairly easy to accomplish through quantitative comparison. Simply put, a reference wight is added to the scale or balance pan. The process finds the difference between the reading (measured value) and the reference weight (true value) which is then compared to a reference balance.
Calibration services not only ensure accurate data, they are required in compliance with the Department of Agriculture, Trade & Consumer Protection. A Routine balance calibration and routine testing can extend the life time of your balance or scale and its weighing accuracy. Rogan Scale is committed to upholding regulatory obligations, which is why we provide our customers with ISO-Accredited processes for annual calibration services.
